Take a break / a twist of life
‘take a break’ sculptures are unique little objects that make you think and make you play. A simple spinning top is maybe the most obvious and characteristic piece one can make on the woodturning lathe. These spinning tops are still attached to their pedestal so they will not spin… unless you break them. A symbolic act of breaking free from your pedestal, stepping down or leaving behind. Ready to spin and dance once again.
